NURSERY
Our Nursery is staffed by warm, patient volunteers whose goal is to exemplify the love of the Lord to the babies as they have their first experiences in Children’s Ministry.
Infants through Walkers are welcomed into a safe, pleasant environment after being checked in through our numbered label system. Parents fill out a self-adhesive nametag, which is applied to the child. They then retain the corresponding tag stub as their ‘claim check’ so that in the event the child is having difficulty, their number is displayed on the paging system in the sanctuary. |
PRESCHOOL
In Preschool, (ages 2 - 5 year olds) each year of age is taught at their own level of understanding in a creative and loving manner.
We put into action the Lord’s Word and the love of Jesus Christ through example and instruction. Using Gospel Light curriculum we teach through directed play, crafts, worship, Bible storytelling and relationship building. Parents may feel secure knowing their children are checked in using the same numbered label system as the Nursery.

ELEMENTARY
Here at Warehouse Christian Ministries, we write our own curriculum based on one created by Calvary Chapel Costa Mesa. Each lesson includes crafts, worship and memory verse activities designed to coordinate with the Bible story. One of the most eye-catching methods we use for teaching God’s Word is the performance of skits, which the students always look forward to. We rotate the schedule of skits with skilled storytellers, always working toward getting the principles of God’s Word across to the students.
Following each lesson, our teachers (known as coaches) divide the students into smaller groups for discussion time. It is here that the point of the story is ‘brought home’ and the transition from Bible story to ‘life application’ is made. As the coaches work with their group of students they build relationships with them and can then tailor the application of the Bible Truths to meet each student’s needs. Through the love and care modeled by these volunteers the students come to know the love of Christ.

SECURITY
All volunteers throughout our Children’s Ministry are thoroughly screened by fingerprinting, background checks and personal interviews with a pastor. Our goal is to create a completely safe environment in which your child may learn about the love of God.
PHILOSOPHY
Our goal is to introduce children to and help them grow in a relationship with Jesus Christ. We want to inspire them to go on a FAITH QUEST!
WHAT IS A FAITH QUEST?
FAITH: “Being sure of what we hope for and certain of what we do not see.”
QUEST: “an adventurous pursuit of a spiritual goal.”
So together they basically mean the same as a “spiritual walk.” We want the children to see that faith in God is essential, exciting, full of adventure and rewarding. We accomplish this by revealing God’s Word and Nature through storytelling, worship, crafts and relationship building.
